Immunise against Measles

The best prevention against measles is the MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccine.

Vaccines are free for tamariki and adults who have not previously received two doses of the vaccine. Vaccination is also important if you are planning to travel anywhere overseas.

• Find out if you need a measles vaccine.
• You can also check your Plunket or Well Child/Tamariki Ora book, or contact your family doctor to check whether you are protected.
